Spinner fishing is a great way to get the fish you want. The spinner works by attracting a fish to the location by bumping into things in the water and spinning. This movement will attract your fish. But, what type of spinner fishing lure do you need? Where can you find the one that will work the best for you? To begin, you need to know what type of fish you are going to be spinner fishing for. What specific interests in this fish are you looking for? Are you looking for a large fish? Are you looking to go spinner fishing for trout? Take this knowledge with you to the tackle shop and ask them there what they recommend as a type of spinner fishing lure will work. Or, if you have the time, you can research online what others have used and been successful with. | Finally, You've Caught The Perfect Fish. Now, Do You Know How To Fillet Your Fish?You can't be happier. You have finally caught the perfect fish. Do you know how to fillet your fish? Once you become an expert at fish filleting, you probably will be asked to fillet everyone else's catch. Firstly, get a good knife and a cutting board or hard surface and lay the fish down on it. You must cut the head of the fish off right to the rear of its gills. Secondly, holding the fish by its tail, take the knife with the blade pointing away from your body and toward where the head was; slice the body of the fish crosswise. The backbone of the fish can be used to direct the knife through. | Three Main Trout SensesTrout have amazing powers of smell. For humans, trying to understand smell underwater is rather difficult since we can't do it. However, trout have no difficulty smelling underwater, so it is worth an anglers time to make sure that they aren't introducing foreign smells into a trout stream (which can warn a trout to a lurking danger such as a fisherman.) When fly fishing for trout, do your best to avoid any artificial smells that are completely foreign to a trout stream. Avoiding these smells, though, of often easier said than done, as the sources of these smells can come from many sources. Fly line cleaners, fly floatants, epoxies and glue can all contribute alien smells to a trout stream. Other things such as aftershave, deodorant and even the smell of your clothing can all tip off a trout that an angler is near. |
