With so many choices in spinner fishing lures, you are sure to find a suitable choice for your fish. | How To Find FishNew Body Of Water If you are going to start fishing a newly created body of water (like a reservoir), here are some things to keep in mind. For the first 2 years, it will be very easy to catch the fish, though they will be smaller (t though about 50% larger in the second year). The 3rd year will prove more of a challenge, as the fish are larger and savvier. It is important to move around the lake and watch where the experienced anglers are getting action. But, the best time to get them is when the water is around 70 degrees. It is then that they become aggressive because they are ready to spawn. You can find nests from about 2 – 12 feet deep. When it is warmer, fish early and/or late in the day, especially if you are in shallow water. Bigger bluegills can be found in deeper water, and can be up to 20 feet below the surface. When fishing lily pads, approach it as if you were going for bass. Work the points, pockets and indentations where there is open water. |

There has been a good push of bigger fish moving thru the lower sections over the past week or so. The fish are from the top to the bottom, if you are not hitting them keep moving til you do. I have been fishing eggs under a float and this seems to be what they want. Egg sacks in Pale Yellow, White and Pink have been the best. Most fish have been coming from Pockets a.
