Fly Fishing and Kids Many things stick out when I look back to those days. I remember both of them caught their first fish on the same day. The Weekend Outlook..  The Water level is scheduled to drop tonight to 1000CFS (this could change) Plus run-off.  If you are planning to fish use caution when wading.  I would try the mid & upper sections of the river, the bigger pools will have some fish holding in the tail.
